File Book 010

Images from the archives Filebook 010

The images in this filebook are mainly about the Railway; its employees, locomotives, loco sheds, signal boxes and station; that came to Woodford Halse at the end of the 19th century and closed in the 20th century after 67 years.

The coming of the railway affected the village in many ways and is still fondly remembered with the village receiving many visitors; especially train enthusiasts; who come to see where the trains used to run.
